PURPOSE
To perform Life product pricing and be involved in product development through to product launches.
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
Support Pricing Team Lead in managing projects and timeline related to product pricing tasks, including product feasibility assessment, building pricing model, propose assumptions, perform financial calculations and sensitivity testing
Able to work independently to prepare internal pricing requirements to clear all PMC gates, Group requirements and external product filing to regulators
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure new products are launched successfully complete with robust checks, integration of full workflow and compliance to relevant policies, regulations and guidelines
Develop strong culture of product innovation through collaboration with partners, customers, internal stakeholder and re-insurers. Propose product modifications to enhance product financials and competitiveness
Pro-active in identifying product and pricing risks and propose solutions
Pro-active in acquiring the necessary technical actuarial knowledge to carry out routine pricing tasks, including (but not limited to) RBC2, EV, and Prophet skillset
Perform peer review and guide juniors/interns where required
Support in ad-hoc projects to deliver business requirements and KPIs
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Degree-holder with 5 - 8 years of experiences in life insurance companies
Experience in product or pricing team is essential
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY
Strong knowledge about life insurance industry
Strong knowledge about (i) Singapore RBC2, and (ii) embedded value
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent command of English
