Assistant Manager-Centre for Responsible Technologies
Work on one of the most ambitious digital\ntransformation programs in Indonesia. This position\nwill work at the intersection of technology, public policy, digital\ntransformation, and innovation. The role involves extensive engagement with\ngovernment agencies, donors, private sector partners, and internal MSC teams to\nmanage technical assistance assignments, lead requirement gathering, drive\nsolution design, and support implementation across diverse digital initiatives\nsuch as Digital ID, Data Sharing, AI/ML, Cloud, and open\-source technologies.<\/span> Detailed\nResponsibilities<\/span> Business\nExecution<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Support major technical assistance assignments focused on digital\nsolutions, Digital ID, Data Sharing, and DPI components.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage client and ecosystem interactions and project execution,\nensuring high\-quality outputs and timely delivery.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead requirement gathering, issue analysis, solution design, and\ndevelopment of practical technical recommendations.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepare and deliver presentations, technical reports, solution\narchitecture inputs, and roadmaps to ecosystem members, government and donor\nstakeholders.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Oversee solution ideation, architecture discussions, prototype\ndevelopment, and vendor coordination.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Work closely with internal MSC teams, external technology vendors,\nand implementation partners during all phases of the project.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct in\-depth research, reviews, and prepare thematic papers,\ntechnical notes, and analytical reports.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Attend and represent MSC/CRT at client meetings, workshops, and\nconferences within Indonesia and internationally.<\/span> Business\nDevelopment<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Build and strengthen relationships with current and prospective\nclients across government, private sector, and donor institutions.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify business development opportunities based on emerging\ndigital transformation needs and market trends.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead or support the development of concept notes, proposals, pitch\ndecks, and responses to RFIs/RFPs.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Engage with ecosystem members, donors, partners, and stakeholders\nto position MSC\u2019s expertise in DPI, digital solutions, and emerging tech.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Contribute to thought leadership through blogs, publications, and\nknowledge products on DPI, Digital ID, Data Sharing, AI, and related areas.<\/span> Professional\nDevelopment<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide guidance and mentoring to Analysts and Associates during\nproject execution.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Facilitate knowledge\-sharing and contribute to internal learning\ninitiatives across the CRT team.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Invest in continuous self\-development on areas such as DPI, AI/ML,\ndigital transformation, open\-source technologies, cloud, and systems\narchitecture.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide and seek timely feedback to support team development and\nhigh performance.<\/span> Academic / Professional Qualifications<\/b><\/span> Bachelors or master\u2019s in technology /\nengineering or relevant field<\/span> <\/span> Additional certifications or training in digital transformation,\nAI/ML, cloud, data engineering, enterprise architecture, or technology policy\n(Preferred).<\/span> <\/span> Experience<\/b><\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>5+ years of experience in designing, developing, or implementing\ndigital solutions or DPI\-related initiatives.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience in one or more domains \- AI/ML,\nCloud, Data & Analytics, Process Automation, Digital Transformation,\nOpen\-source stack.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Prior experience in consulting, government advisory, technology\nimplementation, digital governance, or system integration roles.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Exposure to working with government stakeholders, donor agencies,\nand international development organizations (Preferred).<\/span>
As Assistant Manager at MSC, you will guide national reforms in digital ID, G2P\ndelivery, and digital public infrastructure working directly with top\ngovernment agencies, global development partners, and a world\-class technical\nteam.
