The Estates Office is looking for a dedicated team member to provide administrative support to the Project Management and Development Planning Section and the Administration and Accounting Section.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and logistic support to office operations, meetings and events;
- Assist in compiling various kinds of reports, correspondence and presentation materials;
- Generate status reports on job orders under term contractor for regular financial planning and monitoring purposes;
- Process financial documents such as purchase requisitions, reimbursement and payment;
- Assist in reviewing/consolidating operational guidelines and procedures;
- Perform routine checking of due compliance with procedures and guidelines pertaining to project management tasks for routine repairs and maintenance works;
- Maintain database and records system;
- Providing secretarial service to Associate Director of Estates (Project Management and Development Planning); and
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- A diploma with a minimum of two years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector;
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua;
- A high level of proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing; and
- Being organised, service-orientated, detail-minded, proactive, self-motivated, able to work collaboratively, independently and under pressure with a strong sense of responsibility.
Shortlisted candidates are required to sit a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
