Assistant Production Supervisor (Electrical)

Location: Tuas (3-minute walk from MRT)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: S$2,800 – S$2,900 per month (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant Production Supervisor to support our production operations in the assembly and manufacturing of industrial water treatment systems. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing production activities, electrical installations, troubleshooting, quality control, and workshop operations while ensuring safety and production standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day production floor activities.
  • Read, interpret, install, test, and troubleshoot electrical drawings and systems.
  • Perform electrical wiring, motor and pump installations, and support PLC-related work.
  • Assist in the fabrication, assembly, and testing of industrial equipment and systems.
  • Support the commissioning team in product testing and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in monitoring project schedules and production timelines.
  • Ensure all required components and materials are available according to BOM and production requirements.
  • Monitor production tools, equipment, and calibration schedules.
  • Coordinate replenishment of consumables and maintenance-related items.
  • Support warehouse activities, including palletizing, crating, and preparation of products for shipment.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and PPE requirements.
  • Support quality control processes and ensure all inspection and test records are properly completed.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards and ensure daily 5S practices are carried out.

Requirements

  • Nitec or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or electrical engineering environment.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with motors, pumps, electrical systems, and PLCs is preferred.
  • Possess basic numeracy and problem-solving skills.
