Assistant Project Officer [Entry Level]

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned installation projects.
• Plan, organize, and execute work assignments within the section.
• Monitor team performance and take corrective actions in cases of non-conformance.
• Review outgoing correspondence from supervisors to customers to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Business Analysis, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Design on delivery schedules, part shortages, and defective components.
• Review, justify, and endorse purchase requisitions for materials and services.
• Support the design and implementation of new work instructions and forms to improve work quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of tools and instruments used by installers.
• Assist in reviewing, maintaining, and updating Installation Manuals and preparing new or revised Installation Check Records.
• Manage the acquisition and distribution of installation drawings, Installation Check Records (ICR), and Quality Assurance Document Lists (QADL) to installers.
• Promote and enforce adherence to Environmental Policy, relevant legislation, and pollution prevention measures with supervisors and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, including conducting regular safety patrols and safety meetings with supervisors and subcontractors.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Manager or senior management.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in any Engineering Field
• Basic administrative and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle site safety infringements firmly and professionally.
• Strong safety-first mindset and commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
• No experience is required; candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply.
• Around 5 years of relevant experience is an added advantage.
