Assistant QM & Data QA (m/f/d)

In this position, you will support the Data Manager and the Head of Operations in reviewing scientific data, checking documentation, and helping to maintain quality-related processes in our daily operations. This role is especially suitable for graduates or early-career candidates who are looking to build hands-on experience in a regulated scientific environment in an industry setting.
Over time, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and hands-on experience in quality management and data quality assurance and gradually take on more responsibility within the team.
Your responsibilities
Support the verification and validation of scientific data
Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Review collected data and documentation for plausibility and compliance with internal standards
Prepare and organize data sets and related records for further analysis and internal processing
Support the maintenance of quality management documentation, including document creation, revision, version control, and release
Assist in monitoring routine workflows in accordance with internal procedures and ISO 9001 requirements
Help ensure that records, templates, and documentation are complete, traceable, and up to date
Work closely with operational and scientific colleagues to support reliable, well-documented, and high-quality processes
What you bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, natural sciences, or a related field, or training as a medical, biological, or chemical laboratory technician
Strong interest in quality management, data quality, and structured documentation in a scientific environment
First practical experience with scientific data, laboratory documentation, or quality-related processes is an advantage, but not required
Good working knowledge of Excel; experience with scientific or statistical software is a plus
A careful, precise, and reliable way of working, with strong attention to detail
Structured documentation and record-keeping skills
A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility
Good written and spoken English; German skills are a plus
