Assistant Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking

An established regional bank is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support its Corporate Banking team in managing and growing corporate client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Relationship Managers in client servicing, account management, and business development activities.
  • Coordinate client onboarding, KYC reviews, account maintenance, and regulatory documentation requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring loan and trade transactions, preparing facility documentation, and ensuring timely execution of client requests.
  • Participate in client meetings, business calls, and site visits while supporting the pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Prepare management reports, client presentations, and internal submissions.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clients and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of banking solutions, including cash management, trade finance, and digital banking services.
  • Handle day-to-day client enquiries and support internet banking implementation and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Degree holder with at least 3 years of relevant corporate banking experience in an Assistant Relationship Manager or similar client-facing support role.
  • Exposure to transaction banking products such as cash management, liquidity solutions, and trade finance will be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with KYC, client onboarding, and regulatory requirements within the banking sector.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client servicing capabilities.
