Assistant Restaurant Manager

La Petite Maison is coming to Boston — and we're looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to help open it right.

This is a chance to be part of the founding floor team, not join something already running. You'll work side by side with the Restaurant Manager and GM, learning the operation inside out while taking real ownership of shifts, people, and guest experience from day one. LPM is French-Mediterranean hospitality at its best: warm, precise, guest-obsessed — and we need someone who wants to grow into that standard, fast.

The Role

You'll report to the Restaurant Manager and General Manager, acting as floor manager during service and stepping up wherever the operation needs you. This role is built for someone who's ready to move from strong supervisor to full manager — with the mentorship and exposure to make that jump quickly.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Run service as floor manager — coordinating the room, supporting the team, solving problems in real time

  • Coach and develop FOH team members alongside the RM, reinforcing service standards day to day

  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery with confidence and professionalism

  • Support scheduling, labor management, and staffing coordination

  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new floor hires

  • Help maintain inventory controls and operational standards

  • Support VIP experiences, special events, and promotional initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with LPM service standards and all health/safety regulations

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years in hospitality, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within upscale or fine dining

  • Strong floor presence — someone guests and team members naturally look to

  • Comfortable with POS systems, reservation platforms, and scheduling tools

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure

  • Genuine ambition to grow into a Restaurant Manager role

  • Experience opening or onboarding in a new venue is a strong plus

Why LPM Boston

You'll be shaping the culture of a brand-new opening for a globally recognized concept, with hands-on mentorship from experienced leadership. Few ARM roles offer this much real exposure and growth trajectory this early.

  • $70,000 – $75,000/yr

  • Strong healthcare and PTO

  • Career growth within an international group
