Associate Administrative Assistant
Job Overview:
The Associate Administrative Assistant supports the administration group and works closely with their supervisor to follow clearly defined general services procedures. The Associate Administrative Assistant is a role that allows for the development of new administration-related skills. The Associate Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing basic administration activities and using existing procedures, to solve straightforward problems.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Adopt quality, health, safety, and environmental program of the Company
- Sort and archive appropriate documents by company policy
- Work on projects as needed by management
- Develop, revise, and maintain departmental files and databases
- Receive visitors and respond independently when possible
- Use Microsoft Office programs on a computer to create documents and correspondence
- Produce reports as required
- Handle special projects or duties as assigned by the departmental manager
- Ensure that company objectives, policies, programs, and procedures are consistently adhered to
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years’ experience
- Ability to perform cost and data analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a team and to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Strong analytical skills
