What you'll be doing

As an Associate, Business Effectiveness Co-op within the Transaction Banking team, you'll play a key role in supporting initiatives that drive efficiency and innovation across the bank. You'll work closely with colleagues and leaders to brainstorm solutions, update team SharePoint sites, and contribute to strategic projects involving reporting, automation, and AI. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with team members, participating in ideation sessions, and leveraging technology to solve business challenges. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through timely leadership and hands-on involvement in projects that enhance business effectiveness. You'll gain exposure to various areas within transaction banking and develop skills in reporting, automation, and AI-driven strategic planning.

Important information:

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

How you'll succeed

  • Reporting and Data Analysis - Create, update, and maintain reports using tools such as Power BI to support business decisions and track progress.

  • Ideation and Problem Solving - Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and solving business challenges.

  • Automation Support - Assist in implementing automation solutions using platforms like Power Automate to streamline processes.

  • AI Project Participation - Contribute to AI-related projects, learning how to apply strategic planning tools to real-world business problems.

  • Collaboration and Communication - Work closely with team members, business partners, and leaders to share updates and ensure alignment on project goals.
