Job Description

  • Provide custodial services to our Securities Services (SS) clients.

  • Part of Central Utility team to support the day to day processing of digital asset custody.

  • Perform safelisting of wallet addresses

  • Perform name screening (EWSS) and Digital Asset Token purity screening (Elliptic)

  • Perform asset transfer in and transfer out

  • Monitoring of settlement status of cash and assets

  • Support the daily business operations of Securities Settlement in foreign markets

  • Reconciliation - Provide resolution of breaks related to settlement activities

  • Active involvement in adhoc projects, new initiatives and Live Verification tests

  • Maintain updated standard operating procedures and adherence to risk and changes in global operating environment

  • Stay abreast in the securities market by reading circulars from sub-custodians, custodian magazines & journal

  • Build and maintain relationships with the various stakeholders such as the Client Service Managers, sub-custodians, Risk and all internal/external teams

  • Ensure all internal and external service standards are met while complying with policies, requirements and best practices

  • Generate and use MIS Data to understand volume trends, settlement/prematching rates, etc

  • Strive for continuous improvement/optimization of existing processes

Requirement:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in banking operations, or related field

  • Able to work on rotational shifts, including public holidays and weekends.

  • Knowledge and experience in securities Custody operations, especially in Settlements, will be an advantage

  • Familiar with Digital Assets and distributed ledger technology will be an advantage

  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage and lead discussion with stakeholders at all levels

  • Analytical, detailed oriented with a growth mindset

  • Self-driven and task-oriented

  • Ability to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Team player as well as ability to work independently under minimal supervision
