We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator cum Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations for an electronics retail distribution center. The role involves operating forklift and material handling equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and store products such as home appliances, televisions, electronics, and accessories.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on warehouse experience, good product handling discipline, and the ability to manage fragile, bulky, and high-value goods safely. The role also requires supporting picking, dispatch, stock movement, documentation, inventory counts, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate forklift safely for loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of electronics and appliance products.
- Handle bulky and fragile items such as TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and other electronics with care.
- Move palletized goods to assigned storage, staging, picking, or dispatch locations.
- Support inbound receiving, putaway, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock movement activities.
- Check product quantity, labels, carton condition, damages, and handling requirements during movement.
- Assist in cycle counts, inventory checks, audits, and stock reconciliation.
- Perform daily forklift checks and report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Follow warehouse SOPs, safety guidelines, product handling standards, and company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, proper stacking, aisle discipline, and safe working conditions in the warehouse.
- Support supervisors and team members in daily warehouse operations as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Valid forklift operator certification / heavy vehicle license as per local requirements.
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, retail distribution, or electronics/appliance handling preferred.
- Knowledge of safe handling practices for fragile, bulky, and high-value products.
- Basic understanding of inventory movement, scanning, labeling, and warehouse documentation.
