Associate Dentist

Job Requirements:

• BDS or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Singapore Dental Council.
• Determined, committed with gentle and caring nature
• Excellent communication and good interpersonal skills
• Friendly, respectful towards others and able to work well in a family-like team
• Possess aligned dental philosophy in minimally invasive and preventive dentistry with the best interest of patient and practice at heart (minimum 5 years of practicing experience will be an advantage)
• Willing to go the extra mile beyond usual clinical roles (e.g. training DSAs, providing clinical and dental knowledge training to the team)
• Able to handle the pressure of a challenging workload in a busy practice
• Flexible with work schedule and able to work on 4 to 5 days of variable shifts

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform dental treatment based on the allowed work scope and practice’s protocols
• Check and ensure patient comfort throughout the treatment
• Ensure that treatment is performed in a timely and professional manner
• Educate patients in oral hygiene and preventive dentistry
• Keeps accurate, complete and appropriate clinical records consistent with the requirements of the practice
• Perform treatment with thorough theoretical and practical working knowledge of infection control procedures and practices
• Connect, build and nurture professional relationship with patients in a friendly manner
