Associate Director/ Director Supply Chain

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Set and reinforce standards for a safe work environment.
  • Should be able to demonstrate expertise on Supplier management and positively influencing the Business Goals and Objectives.
  • Drive supplier transfer programs with customer team engagement and program management.
  • Review supplier proposals, assess manufacturing feasibility feedback, discuss with Engineering, and resolve the open issues.
  • Actively participate in the monthly buyer report out meeting to support planning and inventory Control managers, Buyer/Planners, and Quality Managers through the fast resolution of escalated / repetitive supplier delivery and quality issues, including root causes countermeasures (RCCM), and long-term effective corrective actions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators like RDSL and DPPM
  • Initiate development program on TOP RDSL suppliers. Support chronic DPPM issues to Plant QA. Support Global Supplier Quality in case of chronic issues escalation.
  • Analyze site forecasts provided to critical suppliers and keep close communication with Operations as well as the supplier to identify programs necessary to maintain supplier performance (stocking program opportunities, adjusting suppliers’ capacities, etc.)
  • Ensure Suppliers are trained in Structured Problem Solving, Lean & Six Sigma, and that Supplier management is committed to the use of these tools.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Expertise on Process knowledge like Castings, Assembly and Machining. Flexibility to travel 20% of the time, Experience in handling global teams would be an additional advantage

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Engineering graduate with minimum 15+ years of relevant experience, Certified Program Management Skills would be an added advantage
