Associate Director, eDiscovery Review Solutions

Overview

The primary responsibilities of an Associate Director include leadership and oversight of Consilio’s review service offerings across multiple matters and client engagements. Associate Directors play a critical role in ensuring the consistent, high-quality delivery of services and successful fulfillment of client expectations.

Associate Directors actively support department-level initiatives, provide subject matter expertise, and partner with review Directors to drive operational excellence and optimization across the Review Solutions function. They are also responsible for the leadership, development, and mentorship of Review Senior Managers, Review Managers, and broader review teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of multiple concurrent review matters and client engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency of delivery
  • Provide strategic guidance to Review Senior Managers and Managers to ensure adherence to best practices, process consistency, and high-quality outcomes
  • Communicate with clients and their counsel as a subject matter expert in Consilio’s process and service offerings
  • Identify areas of operational risk within projects or workflows and implement mitigation strategies
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex project or client issues and support resolution in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supports department-wide initiatives, including workflow improvements, reporting enhancements, and training efforts
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators, including quality, productivity, utilization, and financial metrics

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • JD, and admission to and good standing in a state bar, are required

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years eDiscovery or law firm experience either within or outside of Consilio

Other Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, with emphasis on verbal and written client communication
  • Demonstrated excellence in team leadership, coaching, and development
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing review databases including but not limited to Relativity
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
