We are seeking for an individual to execute debt recovery activities and implement proper follow-up mechanisms to recover money within the set credit period while supervising all SBUs under purview to ensure identification of discrepancies for delayed receipts and drive the corrective actions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute recovery activities and ensure proper follow-up mechanisms are put in place to recover money within the set credit period.
Identify discrepancies for delayed receipts and support in the implementation of corrective actions. Ensure receipts are cleared on time, in keeping with the Service Level Agreements, and take measures to resolve discrepancies prior to month end closure.
Ensure Standard Operation Procedures are adhered to ensure zero instances of misrepresentations of financials.
Prepare ad-hoc reports /analysis as requested in order to facilitate informed decision making within the organization.
Assist team members with workload during periods of high volume or absence in order to maintain a smooth workflow.
Build good work rapport with relevant internal and external parties to ensure a sustainable business.
Support the team with operational and audit requirements and ensure business demands are met.
Perform additional duties that commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by the management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Degree /Diploma in Finance / Financial accounting/ Economics / CIMA, ACCA or ICASL or equivalent professional qualification
1.5 to 3 years of relevant experience
