Swaniti Initiative is a social enterprise that is\nworking at the intersection of climate, governance and last mile delivery. We\nbelieve that while the willingness and resources exist, there are fundamental\ngaps in the execution within communities that is the biggest crisis in the\nclimate movement. Accordingly, Swaniti works with subnational governments to\nconduct microplanning exercises with consultations with community and key\nstakeholders to understand the pathways forward, provide technical assistance\nto subnational governments to provide support in program implementation and\nsupport in monitoring and delivery of programs. A significant focus of our work\nwithin climate and governance is on preparing the private sector and\ncommunities for the energy transition. Therefore, green skilling becomes key to\nour work. We are working with key industry players and communities to map out the\nopportunities and gaps around the skilling ecosystem. This has included\nproviding technical assistance to subnational on policy support for providing\nskilling. Accordingly, Swaniti is looking to build up its team around green\nskilling and is looking for experienced professionals working on the\nintersection for the same.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span> Job Overview:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> We are looking for an experienced professional who is\nkeen on taking up the role in a project focused on green skilling. The\nprofessional will be expected to further Swaniti\u2019s vision on understanding the\ngaps and opportunities on green skilling and then work with state governments\non operationalizing them. The current areas of \u201cgreen skilling\u201d include solar,\nhydro, geothermal, wind and domestic waste management. Given the\ntechnical requirements of the space, the following qualities would be favourably\nlooked upon for the candidate.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span> We are\nlooking for Associates who can support in a.) ground level analysis through\nprimary data and research, b.) assistance to state governments on policy\nplanning and program identification and c.) requisite monitoring and program\nimplementation support on ground.
