Associate Installation & Service Electrician

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an Associate Installation & Service Electrician, you will partner with service and installation team to perform on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and technical support for PCB equipment. In this role, you will report to the Installation and Service Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Install and commission new equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform electrical wiring, panel checks and system startup.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Respond to customer breakdown calls and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Prepare service reports.
  • Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • follow all electrical safety, LOTO, and EHS requirements.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 50% of Travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical engineering.
  • 2 years of experience in semiconductor, PCB, electroplating, or chemical process equipment.
  • Hands-on commissioning and installation experience.
  • Reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and P & I.
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Professional electrical license.
  • Electrical safety of machinery (IEC60204).
  • Industrial network communication (Profibus, CanBus, Ether cat).
  • Knowledge of Beckoff.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Working in chemical processing environment.
  • Able to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety procedures.
  • Occasionally working after normal business hours, weekend and public holiday.
  • Able to work independently.
