Associate Line Servicer

The Associate Line Servicer performs those duties related to the packaging of oral antibiotics including supplying packaging lines with components, managing component fill levels during production, reconciliation of components/rejected bulk, and documentation.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transfer Packaging components, bulk tablets/capsules, and oral suspensions to packaging lines.
Issue/Return required components in SAP for packaging lines.
Maintain the filling levels of bottle and cap hoppers on packaging lines.
Maintain the filling levels of tablet/capsule hoppers on packaging lines.
Stacking shippers on finished product skids.
Change tote-bins/binserts on packaging lines.
Document finished product skids on batch record and transfer to designated area in warehouse.
Document daily production in batch record.
Document, weigh, and transport rejected material to designated reject cage.
Performs visual inspection of materials, products, and containers throughout the packaging process.
Discards broken, damaged, or otherwise defective materials and/or products.
Performs line cleanups following completion of batch.
Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend specifications as outlined in cGMP’s and SOP’s required.
Manual dexterity required.
Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Pass visual acuity test.
Operate powered industrial trucks
Experience in Lockout/Tagout
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Responsible for the smooth operation of line by functioning as a team to meet production demands.
Assists Packaging Department in meeting goals developed by meeting daily production schedule.
