Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Assist in end-to-end accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, employee benefits processing, and general ledger entries
• Prepare and post routine journal entries along with complete and accurate supporting documentation
• Support timely processing of payroll by validating inputs and coordinating with internal stakeholders for corrections
• Assist in maintaining property tax, insurance, and other recurring financial schedules as per defined templates and timelines
• Perform basic account reconciliations and support periodic close activities under supervision
• Help in preparation and maintenance of fixed asset registers and calculation of depreciation schedules
• Ensure accuracy of financial data by performing basic validation checks and supporting quality review processes
• Assist in preparation of client deliverables and reports, ensuring timely submission as per agreed SLAs
• Support client communication by responding to routine queries and escalating complex issues to Seniors/Managers
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow execution and timely completion of assigned tasks within the project framework
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field required • Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong academics may be considered
• Basic understanding of accounting principles including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Exposure to accounting/ERP systems such as QuickBooks or similar platforms preferred
• Willingness to learn cloud-based accounting tools such as Yardi, Intacct, NetSuite, or other systems
• Ability to work in a structured environment, follow defined processes, and ensure compliance with guidelines
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity in all deliverables
• Good communication skills with ability to work effectively within teams and support client interactions when required
• Strong ownership attitude with ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately
