Associate Manager – Tenders & Contracts

What you will do
Define and implement strategies for tenders, contracts, and related business processes aligned with commercial priorities
Lead, coach and develop a team of approximately 10 specialists, monitoring performance through defined KPIs and engagement indicators
Manage end-to-end tender and contract lifecycle, ensuring timely submission, compliance, and high-quality deliverables
Drive strategic decision-making by integrating competitive insights, scenario analysis, and performance tracking (win/loss ratios, pipeline conversion)
Influence cross-functional stakeholders (sales, marketing, compliance, legal) to strengthen business decisions and outcomes
Ensure full compliance with applicable public procurement regulations and internal policies
Monitor and optimize pipeline, contract governance, and risk management frameworks to support business planning
Lead process improvement and transformation initiatives (standardization, simplification, digitalization) to increase efficiency and scalability
What you need
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Law, Public Administration or related field
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: commercial operations, customer service, compliance, legal, process management, tenders/contracts or similar areas
Proven people management experience with direct team responsibility and a strong focus on team engagement and development
Proven experience improving business processes or leading change initiatives
Fluent in Italian and English
Preferred qualifications
Experience in regulated environments
Exposure to contract management or public procurement frameworks
Experience working in cross-functional or matrix organizations

Italy Pay Ranges: €45.500 - €75.800 EUR Annual
