Join us in our mission to create dignified livelihoods and prevent ocean plastic by visiting <\/span>www.plasticsforchange.org<\/a> <\/span> Job Title <\/span> Driver \- Associate Operations<\/span> Location <\/span> Chennai <\/span> Key Responsibilities <\/span> Drive company vehicles safely to assigned locations.<\/span> Visit scrap shops and collect materials as per the daily sourcing plan.<\/span> Complete allocated trips and sourcing targets on time.<\/span> Follow all traffic rules and company safety guidelines.<\/span> Maintain vehicle cleanliness and condition.<\/span> Assist in loading and unloading materials whenever required.<\/span> Ensure proper handling and transportation of collected materials.<\/span> Verify material quantity and quality during collection.<\/span> Identify new scrap dealers and sourcing opportunities.<\/span> Build and maintain good relationships with stakeholders.<\/span> Support ethical sourcing practices and fair pricing.<\/span> Update trip and sourcing records after every collection.<\/span> Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.<\/span> Ensure CRM updates are completed on time.<\/span> Assist managers in collecting field\-related information.<\/span> Follow company policies, SOPs, and operational procedures.<\/span> Maintain confidentiality of company and stakeholder information.<\/span> Work closely with the operations team to achieve sourcing targets.<\/span> 12th Pass/ITI/Undergraduate/ Diploma/Graduate.<\/span> Valid driver's license for light and heavy vehicles with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver.<\/span> Fluent in Tamil language and basic reading and writing skills in English.<\/span> Must know to use the google map.<\/span> Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes.<\/span> Safe driving practices.<\/span> Good communication and interpersonal skills.<\/span> Ability to work independently in field operations.<\/span> Time management and target orientation.<\/span> Basic documentation and reporting skills.<\/span> Honest, disciplined, and responsible attitude.<\/span> Ability to learn new processes and systems.<\/span> Note: The responsibilities listed are indicative and not exhaustive.
