Associate – CSDD Content Operations Team
Overview
The Associate – CSDD Content Operations supports the day-to-day execution of content operations activities within the Content Strategy and Digital Delivery (CSDD) team. Working under the close direction of Team supervisor and Advanced Associates, the role focuses on completing clearly defined, repeatable tasks with accuracy, consistency, and a commitment to quality.
This role is designed for individuals who are building their foundational skills in content operations, demonstrating reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. The Associate follows established standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintains accurate records, and escalates issues promptly within defined channels.
The ideal candidate has up to 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent internship exposure. Prior experience in content production, publishing, digital operations, or administrative support environments is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Content Operations Execution Execute assigned tasks accurately and on time, following established SOPs. Provide timely status updates and support the team during key delivery periods.
Process & Record Keeping Follow documented workflows and maintain accurate records in SharePoint or designated repositories. Update Job Aids and process documentation as directed.
Tooling & Tracker Maintenance Keep workflows and trackers up to date in JIRA, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools. Flag tooling issues, data inconsistencies, or reporting anomalies to supervisors promptly.
Issue Escalation Identify and escalate routine issues with sufficient context for quick resolution. Distinguish expected operational variation from situations requiring supervisor attention.
Stakeholder Communication Provide clear task and workflow updates to supervisors. Participate actively in team check-ins and reviews.
Data & Reporting Support Assist with data preparation, validation, and reporting. Help maintain dashboards and datasets in line with source trackers.
Tools & Systems
Candidates should have working knowledge of, or a demonstrated willingness to learn, the following:
JIRA – task tracking, workflow management, and issue logging
Smartsheet – project tracking, operational trackers, and reporting
Microsoft Teams, Planner & SharePoint – collaboration, file management, and cross-team communication
- Basic exposure or willingness to learn Excel (advanced functions preferred), Power BI or equivalent reporting tools
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience. Internship or placement experience will be considered.
Prior exposure to content production, publishing, digital operations, or administrative support is preferred.
High attention to detail with the ability to follow processes consistently, manage concurrent tasks, and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working with documentation, workflow tools (JIRA, Smartsheet or equivalent), and structured data; able to perform basic validation and support reporting activities.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide structured updates to supervisors and participate constructively in team check-ins.
Strong learning orientation — able to absorb new processes, tools, and domain knowledge quickly and apply them as directed.
