Bhumi\u2019s Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Program works to\ncreate safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environments\nwhere children can thrive academically and emotionally.\nThrough a whole\-school approach, the program strengthens\nstudent wellbeing, builds educator capacity, and supports\npositive school culture. We partner with government and\nlow\-income schools across Tamil Nadu to integrate SEL into\neveryday teaching and learning. Our work reaches\nthousands of students annually, equipping them with\nessential life skills such as self\-awareness, empathy,\nresilience, and responsible decision\-making.

Role and Responsibilities:
<\/div>
<\/div>
- Assist in the development and adaptation of SEL\ncurriculum materials, resources, and activities to\nmeet the needs of diverse learners and educational\nsettings.
<\/span><\/li>- Collaborate with educators and other stakeholders\nto integrate SEL practices into classroom\ninstruction, school culture, and extracurricular\nactivities.
<\/span><\/li>- Facilitate SEL workshops, training sessions, and\nprofessional development opportunities for staff to\nenhance their understanding and implementation\nof SEL strategies.
<\/span><\/li>- Support the collection and analysis of data related\nto the implementation and effectiveness of SEL\nprograms and interventions.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Educational Qualification/Experience:<\/span>
<\/div>
<\/div>- Educational Degree : Graduate, post\-graduate in relevant\nfields such as Psychology, Education, or Social Work, or\nfellowship experience <\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Relevant Experience(in years) : Previous experience in\neducation, counseling, social work or related fields, with a\nfocus on social emotional learning or mental health support\n(preferred).<\/span><\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Knowledge & Skill sets required:<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>- Knowledge of SEL frameworks, theories, and\nevidence\-based practices. <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,\nwith the ability to build relationships and\ncollaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Experience facilitating workshops, training\nsessions, or group activities. <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Ability to work independently and as part of a\nteam, with strong organizational and time\nmanagement skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
