Associate, Technology Operations Engineering
Associate, Technology Operations Engineering monitors and maintains technology systems or network infrastructure, provides technical support, and collaborates on the development of new technologies and procedures to align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring and observability tools
- Configure and maintain alerting mechanisms to ensure timely detection and response to incidents
- Develop and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into system performance, availability, and key metrics
- Analyze metrics, logs, and traces to proactively identify issues and support root cause analysis
- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution to ensure system resilience and business continuity
- Perform regular system patching and maintenance activities in line with organizational security and compliance standards
- Support and adhere to ITIL-based change management processes, including planning, documentation, approvals, and post-implementation validation
- Monitors network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Participate in certificate lifecycle management, including provisioning, renewal, and troubleshooting of SSL/TLS certificates
- Maintain and manage service accounts (Service IDs), including access provisioning, rotation, and compliance with security policies
- Maintains accurate documentation of system configurations, runbooks ,SOPs, and troubleshooting steps, and generates reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions
Education and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience
- Knowledge of Operating Systems, Programming Languages and Runtimes such as Java , .NET
- Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL Databases such as MySQL , Postgres , Couchbase , HBase , Cassandra
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks
Work Experience
- Experience in Incident , Problem and Change management using ServiceNow
- Experience in system administration, network configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and support using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, XL Release (XLR), or similar
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting technology infrastructure and services, including servers, networks, and cloud services
- Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Experience in using generative AI tools and technologies
- Experience accessing and managing remote systems using tools such as RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) and Citrix
- Proficiency in connecting to and administering servers via SSH (Secure Shell)
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts (ports, protocols, firewalls) as they relate to remote system access
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks
- Certification in any programming language/runtime such as Java , .Net , Python
- Certification in containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes) is a plus
Public Cloud certification in AWS or GCP is a plus
