<\/p>We are working to help transform the lives of\nchildren from underprivileged backgrounds by giving them access to a better\neducation. One of the ways we work towards this is by improving the\ninfrastructure in government and low\-income schools to provide a better\nlearning environment for the children.<\/span>
<\/p>The Associate/Lead will be responsible\nfor inspecting the project sites, monitoring progress, and compiling reports on\nproject status.<\/span>
<\/p>Primary responsibilities include, but\nare not limited to:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Visit\nand support infrastructure need analysis for the schools and NGOs<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Effectively\ncoordinate projects using project management tools and ensure timelines of the\nproject are met <\/span>under the guidance of\nproject manager<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Visit\nand monitor projects and maintain good working relationships with School\nmanagement, Government departments, contractors, and vendors<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Preparing\ncost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available and\nthe desired quality is achieved<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Gathering\ndata, compiling reports and delivering presentations/documents to the relevant\nstakeholders.
<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Preferred Education Qualifications and\nExperience:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Diploma\nor Polytechnic or B.E. in Civil Engineering <\/span>\- Preferred<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Work\nexperience in Civil and Infrastructure projects \u2013 2 to 5 years<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Experience\nwith any Project Management tools would be an advantage<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Should\nbe able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Prior\nexperience in the non\-profit sector would be an advantage<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Prior\nexperience with documentation and preparation of Reports<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Ability\nto apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects
<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Good\ninterpersonal and communication skills \u2013 English & Tamil<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Ability\nto speak in Hindi will be an added advantage<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Good\ncomputer skills \u2013 MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint \u2013 Preferred<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Goal\noriented professional with team working skills<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Having\na two\-wheeler \u2013 preferred<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Willingness to frequently\ntravel locally and nationally
