Associate Worship Leader

Position Purpose:
To inspire a culture of worshippers to walk closer with Jesus. Assist Worship Minister to lead team in becoming better at their craft of leading worship. I am winning when the teams are confident in their roles of leadership and are replicating themselves at every level of leadership.


Role Basics | Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus
  • Be a Member-Partner of Stonegate Fellowship
  • A humble heart to lead people in worship and not just lead a worship service
  • Multiple worship venues (Main auditorium and chapel) carrying the same level of prayer intentionality of excellence into each environment
  • Work alongside teaching team and staff to coordinate and plan weekly gatherings so that worship aligns with the heart of the message.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and executing worship services to include:

-Weddings and Funerals

-Assist leading midweek rehearsals

-Assist in weekly Sunday Services -Conferences
-Staff Development

-Lead spiritually and professionally healthy environments with worship teams

  • Utilize the Leadership Pipeline to recruit and train worship team members alongside Worship Coordinator who lead in all venues of Stonegate


Minimum Work and Education:

  • 3-5 years experience leading worship teams, planning, preparing and leading worship services
  • High school diploma or GED, with some college or post-high school training/certification

honors God and strengthens the overall health of the Ministry.

Time Requirement:

40+ hours per week; 46 Sunday’s per year.
This position is a non-exempt full time position.
This position requires availability on days, nights and weekends. Typical

office hours are 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. Monday through Thursday. This can be flexible depending on events or special programming.
