Position: Associate Director – Agrochemicals Brand

Location: Bangalore, India

Job Overview

We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to build and scale our agrochemicals brand from 0 → 1.

This is a high-ownership role covering business strategy, go-to-market execution, distribution buildout, brand development, and P&L ownership.

You will work directly with the Founder to define strategy and drive execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is motivated by building a business from scratch.

This is not a maintenance role; this is a build mandate.

Key Requirements

● 5–7 years of experience in FMCG , agrochemicals, agri-inputs, or related sectors, with exposure to launching, scaling, or managing brands in modern and general trade.

● Strong understanding of distribution networks, channel dynamics, and go-to-market execution, with demonstrated revenue or business ownership.

● Proven ability to operate independently with a high-ownership mindset in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

● Willingness to travel extensively across India to build and scale the business on the ground.

Skills and Responsibilities

Business Strategy and Brand Buildout

● Define and execute go-to-market strategy

● Identify priority crops, regions, and product segments

● Build product portfolio roadmap including SKUs, pricing, and positioning

Brand and Market Development

● Develop brand positioning and value proposition

● Drive farmer, retailer, and distributor activation

● Execute demand generation initiatives and gather market insights

Distribution and GTM Expansion

● Appoint and manage distributors and super stockists

● Execute state-wise expansion plans

● Build scalable, performance-driven channel structures

Operations and Supply Coordination

● Coordinate with supply and operations teams to ensure product availability

● Support regulatory compliance and product registrations

● Oversee inventory planning and working capital efficiency

P&L Ownership and Business Performance

● Own revenue planning and achievement

● Manage gross margins and profitability

● Track performance metrics and drive business growth
