Attorney - Advisor (FOIA)
This position is located in the Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Office of General Counsel (OGC). The incumbent will be responsible for advising and performing work regarding Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) matters. **Notice: More than one selection may be made within 90 days of the issuance of the certificate, if additional vacancies occur. As a Attorney - Advisor (FOIA), GS-0905-13/14/15, your typical work assignments may include the following: Provides legal advice and counsel on all matters involving the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Privacy Act (PA), and related information access and disclosure laws. Processes requests, responds to status inquiries, and evaluates appeals. Coordinates with the Department of Justice on litigation, prepares rolling productions, declarations, and Vaughn Indices. Develops, updates, and reviews internal policies and procedures. Performs duties as assigned to provide coverage within the portfolio.
