Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Authorization Analyst to join our ever evolving authorization team within Global Payments Europe, s.r.o. and help shape the future of global commerce.
What you’ll own
- Analyze business requirements and design end-to-end solutions for authorization systems, including effort estimation and delivery planning
- Support the migration from BASE24 to PowerZac, including gap analysis, implementation, and system integration
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop, configure, and improve authorization and acquiring solutions
- Evaluate existing systems and interfaces, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and compliance with card scheme requirements
- Act as a key point of contact across teams, supporting certifications, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience in payments, solution consulting, or authorization systems within the card or banking industry
- Strong understanding of payment transaction authorization, e-commerce, and card scheme ecosystems (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Experience with system design, requirements analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Ability to manage complex topics independently, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with a strong willingness to learn, innovate, and deliver value-driven solutions
It’s a bonus if you have
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to understand or work with PERL scripts
- Experience with authorization platforms or migration projects within acquiring environments
- Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile delivery models
Additional requirements
- Strong communication skills in English (B2–C1 level); Czech is an advantage
- Ability to collaborate across international teams and stakeholders
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
