Automation Project Lead
Catalyx is seeking a DeltaV Automation Lead who will be\nresponsible for the control system solution for an area within a project\nensuring the solution is aligned with the overall program automation\nphilosophy, standards and user requirements.

Role Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Technical ownership for an area in a project · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Define the S88 software structure and list for\nthe area · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop draft function design specifications for\nthe area · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Work with system integrators to finalize the\nfunctional specifications · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Participate in P&ID and control strategy\nreviews · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Working closely with the Project Technical Lead\nand System Integrator to successfully deliver the project on schedule and\nbudget · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with Program technical offices to\nensure the automation solution is aligned with the overall program automation\nphilosophy and standards · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure consistency of the automation\ndeliverables in the area (requirements, functional specifications, control\nstrategies, phases, and recipes, etc.) · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist in defining the software components that\nneed to be created or modified · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Communicate progress, issues, and needs to\nautomation technical lead for the project · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide input, review, and approve functional\nrequirements and specifications · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop Parameter and Recipe Specification\ndocuments · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Responding to system integrator technical\nqueries · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Identification of any remediation effort\nrequired on process control software · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Create items in the issue tracker as issues\narise after the software acceptance · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify and analyze risks of technical nature\nparticular to the area and planning responses · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>BS Engineering (or equivalent experience) · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>8+ years working Automation experience in the\nPharmaceutical Industry (preferable in API/bulk manufacturing) · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Previous Pharmaceutical Automation Large\nProject/Program experience/expertise · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>5+ years\u2019 experience in DeltaV Batch DCS · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Preferable previous experience with\nAllen\-Bradley PLCs · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong knowledge of GMP\u2019s, regulatory\nrequirements and computer system validation principles · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong knowledge of GMP\u2019s, regulatory\nrequirements and computer system validation principles · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Excellent written and verbal communication\nskills for both technical and non\-technical audiences Why Join Catalyx?<\/span><\/span><\/b> Catalyx is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
