Job Role: Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, and API
• Perform API testing (functional, regression, and integration) to validate backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure proper defect tracking and closure.
• Participate in test planning, test case creation, and test execution activities.
• Ensure automation suites are scalable, reusable, and aligned with best practices.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Must-have requirements:

• 5+ Years of Testing experience.
• 2 Years of Automation Experience with Selenium and Java.
• Interpreting business and technical specifications.
• Understand UML.
• Software-testing methodology and frameworks, defect management, test management.
• Regression, usability, sanity, and functional testing methods.
• SQL, XML, JSON.
• Ability to work in Agile Development & Testing Environment.
