AV Presales Engineer
Job description
- Technical Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team and clients to understand their requirements and challenges, provide professional advice on the most suitable Pro AV solutions for their specific needs.
- Solution Design: Develop customized, cutting-edge Pro AV system designs and configurations tailored to meet individual client needs, considering factors such as room acoustics, equipment compatibility, and budget constraints.
- Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product & solution demonstrations and POC (proof of concept) to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our Pro AV solutions, both at the company's facilities and client sites.
- Proposals and Documentation: Prepare detailed technical proposals, complete with system diagrams and specifications, to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to potential customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, in-house product team, suppliers and engineering teams to address technical inquiries, resolve challenges, and ensure seamless project implementation.
- Stay Updated: Continuously stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to maintain a competitive edge and contribute to the enhancement of our offerings. Product testing and evaluation.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Computer Engineering / Multimedia Technology / Audio Engineering, or any other relevant field of studies
- Minimum 1 year of experience as Project Engineer / AV Programmer / Presales Engineer / Audio Engineer in Pro AV field.
- Engineer with knowledge and experience in Pro Audio is preferred.
- Analytical mindset and creative problem-solving skills to address client challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Display positive learning attitude and aptitude
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and working effectively within a team.
- Self-driven and able to work under stress and independently
