Aviation Maintenance Controller

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Aviation Maintenance Controller to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position combines the expertise of maintenance planning and control with hands-on mechanical work, ensuring the highest standards of aircraft maintenance and safety are achieved. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to maintaining our fleet's operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Control

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations of the fleet
• Support the DOM with assigned tasks
• Monitor aircraft status in real-time, ensuring all maintenance activities comply with regulatory standards and company procedures
• Collaborate with operations to optimize aircraft availability and minimize disruptions
• Analyze maintenance data to forecast potential issues and implement preventative measures
• Communicate with the FAA as needed

Qualifications:

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required
• Previous experience in aviation maintenance control and as a mechanic
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations, maintenance manuals, and aircraft systems
• Proficiency in maintenance software and diagnostic tools
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs dictate
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
  
• Must reside in and be eligible to work in the United States
