Aviation Project Manager
This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Manager for our Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA) office.
Be involved in projects with our Aviation PM Team and be part of a growing organization that meets our clients’ objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
- Establish program requirements for assigned projects and ensure alignment across stakeholders
- Monitor and review draft and final deliverables for adherence to project requirements
- Track and follow up on applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and project commitments
- Represent the owner in negotiations related to scope, cost, schedule, and contract matters
- Facilitate regular project meetings to review status, risks, and action items
- Plan, direct, supervise, and manage all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management, including key milestones and risks impacting cost or schedule.
- Demonstrate a relentless focus on finding solutions, navigating challenges in a live operational environment, and driving issues to resolution to keep projects moving forward.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architectural, Construction Management or similar designation.
- 10+ years of construction and/or project management experience.
- Proven experience operating in a project management or leadership capacity.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in field environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of current technologies and tools used in project delivery.
- Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
- This role is subject to a client-mandated drug and alcohol testing policy, including random testing.
- This position is contingent upon client approval.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification.
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Experience managing construction in active/operational environments (e.g., airports or similar facilities).
- Familiarity with local municipalities, codes, and federal and state regulations.
