AWS Data Engineer
You will work closely with architects, engineers, and business leaders throughout the organization to build and execute our strategic data architecture vision.
• Serving as a single-threaded technical owner for data architecture for global data platform work
• Develop and design the overall system of data flows and data models for systems that produce our data assets
• Scale architectural design work through data engineering, data governance, and solutions architecture
• Lead development of data architecture best practices, standards, design review processes, and creation of repeatable design documents
• Cultivate culture of data architecture fluency and technical enablement
• Serve as technical thought leader and innovator, incorporating new ideas, technologies, and ways of working
• Developing and implementing quality metrics for data to assess and optimize the current data landscape
• A Bachelors/Masters in computer science/engineering or related experience
• Looking for 1-3 years of experience with Python, SQL
• Hands-on experience of relational, dimensional, and/or analytic data management tools, including RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols
• Experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts with a focus on energy data sets
• At least one current AWS or cloud certifications and documented thought leadership related to data architecture
