We now have an opportunity for a <\/span>Technical Lead<\/span><\/b> to <\/span>mentor a team of back\-end developers working on CPQ related solutions, providing strong technical guidance, architectural direction, and ongoing support.   • Collaborate closely with project managers, CPQ solution architects, front\-end developers, and business stakeholders to define, plan, and achieve project goals aligned with CPQ and commercial requirements. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Design and implement robust backend architectures that support CPQ scalability, performance, and complex pricing, configuration, and quoting models. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Oversee the development of server\-side logic supporting CPQ processes, including pricing engines, rule evaluation, approvals, and integrations, as well as the definition and maintenance of underlying databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to CPQ requests from the front\-end. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Ensure code quality, consistency, and long term maintainability by performing code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and promoting CPQ and backend best practices within the team. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Troubleshoot and debug CPQ related backend applications, optimising code for performance, scalability, and reliability under high transaction volumes. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies, CPQ platforms, and integration patterns, and assess their applicability to current and future CPQ implementations. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including CPQ system architecture, backend design specifications, and integration flows. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational processes for CPQ related backend services. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Act as the technical point of contact for backend and CPQ related development issues, providing expertise and guidance across project teams.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Competencies
    <\/span><\/span><\/h4>
    • Proven experience as a BackEnd Developer with a strong track record of successful delivery of enterprise grade solutions, including CPQ or pricing related systems. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring backend development teams in complex, multi system environments. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong knowledge of backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or .NET. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Hands on experience with database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL) and web server technologies in high availability environments.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • Familiarity with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and integrations typically required in CPQ ecosystems (CRM, ERP, billing, and order management systems).<\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git and collaborative development workflows. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • Strong understanding of server side logic, scalability challenges, and performance optimisation, especially in CPQ heavy transactional systems. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • Effective communication skills, enabling close collaboration with cross\-functional teams and non\-technical stakeholders.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
