Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Baker to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in baking who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional bakery environment.

You will receive structured on-the-job training while supporting daily production, equipping you with practical skills and industry knowledge in commercial baking.

Working Hours

  • Tuesday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
  • Sunday: Half day
  • Rest Day: Monday

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing ingredients (measuring, weighing, mixing)
  • Support production of cakes, pastries, and cookies
  • Operate bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers) under guidance
  • Follow standard recipes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards
  • Assist in decorating, finishing, and packaging products
  • Support inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO), and storage
  • Comply with workplace safety and hygiene regulations
  • Work closely with team members and report to the Head Baker

Requirements

  • Interest in baking and food production
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge is a plus (training provided)
