Bakery Technician

The Bakery Technician is responsible for delivering technical expertise and value creation at the flour end-user level within an assigned territory. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments with customers, develop customized solutions including recipe formulation and process optimization, and execute comparative product demonstrations to prospective and existing end-users.
  • Provide technical training and skill development sessions to customers and stakeholders, emphasizing current baking industry standards and innovations.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to perform on-site product troubleshooting, implement corrective measures, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical outcomes.

Education:

  • Graduate of any four-year course.
  • Preferably with a certificate or diploma related in Baking Science or TESDA NCII certification in Bread and Pastry Production.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the baking industry.
  • Proven experience in leading technical baking demonstrations or teaching sessions (including online platforms).

Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth expertise in the techniques of bread, cake, and pastry production.
  • Strong knowledge in the formulation of bread, cake, and pastry recipes.
  • Competency in operating and troubleshooting essential bakery equipment (e.g., dough roller, spiral mixer, rounder/divider, sheeter, proofer).

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel within the Visayas Region.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and G Suite.
