Bar Supervisor

MAIN OPERATIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Plan and prepare duty schedules in accordance with the business forecast to ensure operation runs smoothly.
  •  Supervise bar staff and ensure high standards of service of beverages. Ensure staff provide professional, friendly and efficient service at all times.
  •  Maintain security of operating equipment in the bar and beverage and food stocks in the bar areas.
  •  Perform regular inventories of beverage and operating equipment.
  •  Maintain and control all bar stocks and ensure effective control procedures.
  •  Prepare sufficient mise en place for all bar operations according to the daily business forecast.
  •  Assist in the training and development of bar staff to operate to the required standards of the club.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:

  • Complete knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including of wines and spirits
  • Skilled bar service; cocktails and mixed drinks
  • Excellent social & personal skills
  • Knowledge of F&B control procedures
