Barbecue Restaurant Busser

Job description:

Fox Bros Bar-B-Q is looking for a Busser to support our wait staff and set up our dining areas.

The busser needs to be prompt with a sense of urgency. If you enjoy a fast-paced way of working and want to kick start your career in the hospitality industry, we’d like to meet you. The busser needs to be prompt with a sense of urgency. Ultimately, you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Responsibility/Job Duties (to include but not limited to):

• Maintain a clean and organized work space
• Arrive to work on time, in uniform, ready to work
• Change the sanitation water on a regular basis
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
• Busser must be able to work well and communicate professionally with others
• Sweep and maintain restaurant cleanliness
• Make sure the tables are cleaned, chairs are wiped, and floor is swept
• Keep the restrooms clean and stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Communicate with Hosts and Managers to insure quick table turns
• Maintain safe food safety practices
• A Busser’s position is server support, but must be careful not to overstep the Server’s bounds
• Be efficient when prioritizing tables to be cleared, etc.
• Friendly and professional
• Able to work under stressful situations
• Organized and clean
• Able to communicate guests and coworkers
