Barista (Central)
Job Summary
Prepare and serve beverages, manage customer orders and cashier duties, maintain café cleanliness and stock, and support daily operations to ensure a smooth and pleasant customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages following company standards to ensure quality and consistency
- Take customer orders accurately and perform cashier duties when required to facilitate smooth transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the café, workstations, equipment, and dining area to uphold hygiene and safety standards
- Monitor and restock ingredients, cups, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted service
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and service protocols to maintain compliance and customer safety
- Assist with simple food preparation and serving as needed to support kitchen operations
- Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally to enhance customer satisfaction
- Support daily opening and closing duties to ensure readiness and proper shutdown of café operations
- Collaborate closely with team members to maintain efficient and smooth café operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior barista or F&B experience preferred but not compulsory
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation is an advantage
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Demonstrate a good customer service attitude
- Responsible and punctual work ethic
