Bartender

As a Bartender in a luxury Fairmont hotel, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage experiences while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and service. You will create a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere for guests, prepare and serve premium cocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages, and ensure every interaction reflects the hotel's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and luxury service standards.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, wines, spirits, and menu offerings.
  • Deliver attentive, personalized, and professional service to guests at all times.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar area.
  • Manage stock levels, assist with inventory control, and ensure proper storage of products.
  • Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage team to create memorable guest experiences.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Bartender in a hotel, upscale restaurant, cocktail bar, or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and current beverage trends.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, professional, and guest-focused approach.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest service standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Advanced knowledge of English and Spanish is required; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and health & safety regulations.
  • Eligibility to work in Spain.
