Hope Valley Country Club, located in Durham, North Carolina, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Bartenders. Founded in 1926, Hope Valley is an elite private club featuring a classic Donald Ross designed golf course, state-of-the-art tennis facility, resort-style pool complex, and a spacious, welcoming clubhouse offering its members first-class recreation, dining, and programming. Hope Valley is ideally situated in the heart of one of Southeast’s most vibrant, exciting areas.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service while maintaining a welcoming and polished bar atmosphere for members and guests. This role requires someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and who takes pride in delivering high-quality hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for members and guests
- Provide attentive, courteous, and professional service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Follow all club policies and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Assist with bar setup and breakdown for events and regular service
- Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service
- Accurately process beverage orders and transactions
Schedule:
This position requires availability for evenings, weekends, and special club events. Must also be 21 years old per alcohol service.
