We're currently looking for Spanish <> Basque Code-Switching Transcribers to join our global network of language experts.
What You'll Do
- Listen carefully to audio recordings containing both Spanish and Basque
- Transcribe speech accurately and faithfully
- Capture code-switching exactly as spoken
- Identify and label different speakers
- Mark pauses, hesitations, interruptions, and background noises
- Follow detailed transcription and linguistic guidelines
- Apply grammar corrections only when project guidelines specifically require them
- Maintain high quality and consistency across all assignments
What We're Looking For
- Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and Basque
- Excellent listening and comprehension skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to recognize and accurately transcribe mixed-language conversations
- Experience with transcription, annotation, linguistics, or language-related projects is a plus
- Reliable internet connection and ability to meet project deadlines
