Battery System Quality Engineer

We are looking for someone to develop, design and run tests for battery powered products. You’ll be responsible for validating the battery technologies on Apple products from a user experience perspective throughout their development lifecycle, from early prototypes to post-release phases.You’ll develop automation and analysis tools as required as well as analyze data and present to cross-functional partner teams. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science field and 3+ years of industry experience 3+ years of experience programming in Python and/or C/C++ Experience in automation and testing consumer products Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications An ambition to learn battery technologies Strong working knowledge of UNIX-like operating systems Ability to write high quality test plans Ability to think creatively, problem solve, and innovate Solid debugging experience and ability to investigate and triage complex problems Detail oriented and strive for product excellence Customer Focused: Passionate about the customer experience and what we can do to improve it
