Ski Boat Driver

Latchi Watersports Centre is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and customer-focused Ski Boat Driver to join our dynamic team in the stunning setting of Latchi, Cyprus!

Key Responsibilities:

The Instructor: Safely and expertly operate our modern fleet of ski boats for various watersports activities, including waterskiing, wakeboarding, and inflatable rides.

The Motivator: Guide and coach guests of all ages, from complete beginners catching their first wake to experienced riders mastering new tricks. Your positive energy is infectious!

The Face of Fun: Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest feels safe, confident, and has the absolute best time on the water.

The Guardian: Maintain the pristine condition of our boats, conducting daily checks and ensuring all safety procedures and regulations are strictly followed.

What We’re Looking For:

Age: Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in Cyprus/EU

Essential: Minimum two years of proven experience and proficiency in driving ski boats for watersports activities. Waterski/Wakeboard coaching experience is essential for this role.

Mandatory: Relevant and valid boat driving licence/certificate (e.g., RYA Powerboat Level 2/SABDA)

The Right Attitude: A passion for watersports, an outgoing personality, and a genuine desire to deliver fantastic holiday experiences.

The Skills: Outstanding boat handling ability and excellent communication skills (English required; additional languages are a huge plus!).

The Commitment: Reliability, strong teamwork ethic, and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

Wakeboard/Waterski Instructor

The Face of Fun: Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest feels safe, confident, and has the absolute best time on the water. Ensure all activities are both safe and fun.

The Guardian: Ensure all safety procedures and regulations are strictly followed, and all towing activities are conducted safely and professionally. Maintain the pristine condition of our equipment and boats, conducting daily checks. Act as safety cover on the water for all activities and be ready for rapid response where necessary.

The Team Player: Remaining flexible to assist with other business activities.

RYA Dinghy Sailing Instructor

The Latchi Watersports Group in the North-West of Cyprus is looking for a versatile dinghy instructor to join our team. This opportunity is perfect for someone who is deeply knowledgeable about sailing and enthusiastic about teaching others how to safely enjoy this rewarding sport.

As a sailing instructor with the Latchi Watersports group, you will play a pivotal role in introducing students to the joys of sailing, guiding them from basic techniques to advanced sailing skills. This position allows you to work in a dynamic outdoor setting, imparting your knowledge and promoting a safe, enjoyable learning environment, whilst also gaining experience and transferring your skills to the rest of our activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Main role: Conducting practical sailing lessons for individuals and small groups of all ages and skill levels. Assisting with sailing rentals. Many of our customers are children.
• Inspire customers: Guiding lessons and rentals for different abilities. Promoting and assisting in the safety of other activities, other watersports, and powerboat rentals.
• Safety First: Maintaining and ensuring the quality of all sailing equipment and vessels, with frequent equipment checks. Adhering to all LWC safety standards and in-house operating procedures.
• Skill Development: Providing positive and constructive feedback to all watersports students, fostering their development and confidence on the water.
• Inspirational Communicator: Working as part of a team to ensure safe and fun learning for customers and the safety of staff.
• Team Player: Remaining flexible to regularly assist with other business activities as part of your daily role - boat rentals and watersports (full training provided).

The Essentials:

• Certification: Current Dinghy Instructor certification is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Dinghy Instructor.
• Expertise: Demonstrable experience in dinghy sailing and working in a team.
• Inspirational Communicator: Exceptional ability to engage, inspire, and build rapport with students of all ages, excelling in small groups or one-to-one coaching.
• Safety Acumen: Impeccable knowledge of safety practices and the ability to effectively implement them under pressure.
• Multihull Instructor experience or a windsurf instructor cert is ideal.
• Powerboat handling skills also a bonus.

As a Senior Instructor, you will be part of the core of our dinghy sailing operations and watersports. You'll blend hands-on teaching with crucial team leadership, all while sharing your passion for safe and rewarding sailing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Way: Oversee and mentor our junior dinghy instructors and beach team, assisting with crucial planning and logistics for beach operations, and mastering sales and customer service.
• Inspire Sailors: Speak to new guests with passion, encouraging them to try sailing and other activities. Deliver top-tier theoretical and practical sailing lessons to diverse groups and individuals, including a significant number of children.
• Skill Development: Design and execute engaging sessions for all levels, guiding students from fundamental techniques to advanced skills.
• Safety First: You'll provide essential hands-on support to the Beach Manager, ensuring all operations meet our high standards of safety and service.
• Equipment Excellence: Maintain, check, and ensure the operational quality of all sailing equipment and vessels.
