Position Summary
Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced Epic Beacon & Willow PharmD Consultant to support ongoing pharmacy and oncology initiatives. This consultant will work closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to optimize workflows, enhance system functionality, and support strategic Epic-related projects.

Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise for Epic Beacon and Epic Willow applications.
  • Partner with pharmacy, oncology, and IT teams to assess, design, and optimize workflows.
  • Support system configuration, enhancements, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
  • Analyze clinical and operational requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution and support.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, and training materials.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide recommendations based on industry best practices.
  • Support system upgrades, maintenance activities, and optimization efforts.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • PharmD degree required.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Epic Beacon and Epic Willow.
  • Strong understanding of oncology and pharmacy operations and workflows.
  • Experience with Epic implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a consultant capacity.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Epic Beacon Certification.
  • Epic Willow Certification.
  • Previous consulting experience within healthcare organizations.
  • Experience working with large health systems or multi-site healthcare environments.

Engagement Details
  • 6-month contract engagement.
  • Primarily remote with travel to the client site approximately once per month.
