Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor (BHT) (Full Time)

We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

Summary:

Our Dallas inpatient rehab center offers detox and residential programs for adult men and women in or near Luzerne County. For those with serious substance use disorders, detoxification may be a vital first step in their treatment journey. Our program ensures that clients can safely withdraw from alcohol and other substances in a comfortable, non-hospital environment, with nurses providing 24/7 medical care.

Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:00pm

Pay: $17.50 - $18/hr before shift differentials

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the intake process for new clients.
  • Communicate with staff through verbal or written logs and maintain detailed client records.
  • Listen to clients' concerns regarding treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment.
  • Coordinate activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.
  • Conduct mandatory bed checks and complete related reports for shift changes.
  • Attend shift change meetings, team meetings, and company meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to clients' daily schedules.
  • Assist with client interventions as required.
  • Follow treatment plan objectives.
  • Monitor and manage the medication line.
  • Transport clients to hospitals for medical appointments when needed.
  • Conduct searches of clients upon return to the facility.
  • Train new staff on unit protocols, program details, and milieu management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required skills:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health (preferred).
  • Experience facilitating process groups and family sessions (preferred).
