Bell Attendant (Pre-Opening Hotel)
Our client is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join the opening team of a new luxury hotel in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pre-opening journey and play an important role in creating exceptional guest experiences from the moment guests arrive until their departure.
As a Bell Attendant, you will assist guests with luggage, transportation arrangements and general enquiries while providing warm, professional and attentive service throughout their stay.
Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests upon arrival and departure, providing a warm and professional first impression.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, storage and delivery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Escort guests to their rooms and provide information on hotel facilities, services and room features.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, enquiries and special arrangements.
- Assist with transportation arrangements, taxi bookings and directions to local attractions.
- Handle guest packages, mail, messages and deliveries accurately and efficiently.
- Support Front Office and Concierge operations to ensure smooth daily guest services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance and guest service areas.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Security and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Promote hotel facilities, services and guest experiences where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of luggage storage, deliveries and transportation requests.
- Adhere to hotel policies, safety procedures and service standards at all times.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, concierge or guest-facing roles is preferred.
- Positive, friendly and service-oriented attitude.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to lift and transport luggage safely.
- Basic spoken and written English communication skills.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and local attractions is an advantage.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
